End of Three Year Pilot Project for Talent Navigator Enterprise Hub

Talent Navigator Enterprise Hub has had many successes since the first meeting with potential young entrepreneurs in Walsall in April 2013, including:

Supporting and providing Memberships to 17 young entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurial businesses

Helping a Member to grow to the point where they needed to move on to the next stage in the development of their Web Design and Social Media business, take on their own offices, and recruit a number of new staff

Supporting a Member to deliver health-related courses from the Hub, and supporting two others to pitch for, and win, new business with local customers focused around print design work, and photography

Encouraging joint initiatives between Members – helping them to plan and present from a joint stand at an exhibition, combining their complementary skills, products, and services

Helping a Member develop their business model focused around innovative ‘Augmented Reality’ technology, and making formal business introductions for another Member who subsequently won additional contracts for his Governance Consultancy

Supporting a Member needing professional help with their Trade Mark and Patent issues, and arranging formal introductions to a potential business partner

Mentoring two individuals who worked as Assistant Hub Managers, and providing advice to two other Members who decided to return to full-time employment

Hosting distinguished visitors at the Hub such as the Deputy Director for Cities and Local Growth at the Government’s Department for Business, Innovation, and Skills, and the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Quality at the Department of Health

Running and hosting a number of successful workshops, seminars, and business courses, some run by external organisations – such as The Prince’s Trust – and some by Hub Members

Talent Navigator Enterprise Hub was established to run in Walsall as a three-year Pilot Project. That Project is complete – and the Hub is now closed

Talent Navigator Enterprise Hub wishes all of its Members continued success
